Color Exchanges, Texturings and the Power of Flight.
Birds always fascinated and intimidated me growing up in a 1901 home surrounded by a150 trees. Doodles of birds always appeared in my student notebooks, as did horses and dogs, but unlike the latter, the birds never rated oil colors and canvases until 1998.
My feathered subjects are expressive spirits who, to date, launch new color combinations that then evolve into new subjects, animal, vegetable, mineral.
